At 16, I was handed a Minolta X-700 from my high school photography teacher. Self-conscious and shy, this camera became all at once protective barrier and megaphone, allowing me to express myself using my sight, revealing pieces of me by sharing the beauty I witnessed.
Photography is how I communicate with the world. I aim to capture the spirit of a person, a place, a moment. I see beauty in the whole, the way the light hits, and how we move in the spaces we share.
I am inspired by the connection between sound, mood, movement, and expression. Capturing the relationship between it all: emotion, light, shadow, honesty, energy, essence… and sharing it, is one of my great joys.
Thank you for traveling this journey with me.
